My primary goal in teaching is to help people heal themselves by tapping into higher consciousness states: love, wisdom, and creativity.

About Me, Kate Louise - B.S. 500RYT, YACEP

I am a calm and centered woman. I trust myself and my intuition. I love learning and discovering more about myself, and others. How and why I and others operate the ways that they do is of immense interest to me. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I live close to my heart. I live my truth. I seek honesty in everything it do. I feel most at home when I am offering my love and attention to others. My first devotion is to my daughter; to be the best mother I can be.

My second devotion is to serve; to give of myself to others through acts of loving-kindness and from that place, I can offer the benefits of yoga to anyone open to receive it. I feel most divinely connected to The Source and my spirit when I am able to give something to another from my heart. This is why I practice yoga. Yoga lights the path to live from my heart. Yoga reminds me of who I am and who I was born to be. In the multi-layered experience of being human,

I believe, we all have a unique potential to realize our heart’s intelligence, to remember our innate embodiment as love, and to know our finiteness is also our preciousness. My practice helps me remember to connect to my heart, embody love, and to spread it all around me like wildfire, for I may only have this life for a short while.

What I do and want to share with you:

Hi! I'm Kate, I specialize in teaching gentle-styled yoga that is all bodies inclusive. I love to encourage my students to honor the body they inhabit and discern its natural intelligence. I emphasize safe alignment and gentle transitions infused with sweet reminder for self-trust. The body will always communicate to you what it needs most. It desires to be felt and known. In practice, I want others to lean comfortably into their capacity for radical self-acceptance and self-compassion. While I take these practices to heart, I also can't help but be me...imperfectly human...sometimes silly or weird, but almost always smiling and sending out vibes of kindness and love. Whether you are experiencing movement limitations, pain, or the challenging obstacles of just being human, I will hold a sacred space for you to find your way towards healing.
My vision is to empower others to heal themselves and their lives with this practice. I am incredibly passionate about this practice because of its powerful ability to transform bodies and lives. It inspires us to look deep within ourselves. We find that all we need is already within, we must simply turn inward and embrace it.
Kate was nationally recognized by Yoga Alliance (one of the largest non-profit yoga associations with over 77,000 members) and received a full scholarship to advance her knowledge and expertise of the practice.
